THE WONDERFUL CAT OF COBBIE BEAN

Cobbie Bean was a ne'er do well lad in Salem during the witchcraft furor. But a good witch at his birth had gifted Cobbie with the gift of happiness, a trait most distressing to Cobbie's pious cousins, the plump Captain Bean, a getter, and skinny Deacon Bean, a doer. Cobbie flourishes with the expert help of the witch -- disguised as a common cat. But happy-go-lucky Cobbie betrays her secret to his avaricious cousins and is brought to trial, by Salem's magistrate -- who magically turned the tables on Cobbie's villainous cousins.
