GETTING TO KNOW PAKISTAN

With a minimum of background information, prepare to launch a fascinating expedition into both sections of Pakistan, split apart by 1,000 miles of India. With his young companion in mind, the author explains many features unique to Pakistan, customs, dress, food and religion. The strange story of the buried city of Mohenjo Daro, the shikar (tiger hunt), the trip over the Khyber Pass, the visit to a Mosque, all capture our interest. Many children will accept the invitation to send books to the children of Pakistan, especially since all particulars are included. An excellent addition to this series.
