LIVES OF A WOMAN by Baroness von Hutten

LIVES OF A WOMAN

Pam established Baroness von Hutten as a predictable author for the bookseller, and her market will like this story of a woman who had four husbands and a lover, and was confronted -- on her eventual return to England as a widow -- with the problem of five sets of children. There's a chance for Young Mrs. Meigs appeal in the rather entertaining telling of how she comes out victorious in her many encounters with prejudice, and of how she helps solve the worries of her offspring. A pleasant tale for lighter moments. Rental libraries.
