KIRKUS REVIEW

Another tale of Alaska, of Sitka, of Danny O'Moore and his red-headed grand-daughter. Romance, adventure, espionage, well blended and tied together in a story of the struggle between two hard-headed, soft-hearted old people, Jacqueline Reynal and Danny. The herring run, the chart of the Aleutian Islands, a Japanese spy ring provide plenty of excitement, and there is the love story of Sondra to take care of the romance element. Good going, by the woman who writes the best yarns of the type now being written. Rentals, plus, with a market for older boys and girls as well.
