UNITED WE STAND

A muster of continents, nations, countries, their geographical, social, governmental, economic, intellectual climates, their place in the world setting, designed to help towards a better understanding of the world in which we are living, and in which we shall live. All save the Axis members are covered: --Eurasia (his own peculiar definition to include such sections as the Baltic states, Esthonia, Lithuania, Latvia, etc). Russia, China, the United Kingdom and its dominions, India and the colon, the occupied countries, overseas empires of Belgium, France, the Netherlands, the American -- all shown in their multilateral relations, their motivations, their historical and current backgrounds. Independence through interdependence, with freedom and security for small nations under international order is underlined in a discussion of postwar problems. There is enough of the forces which were influences in the past and those which are at work today to give an intelligible account of the aims and achievements of each nation, and the whole provides concise, though net encyclopedic reference and check material, useful for the interested citizen, and for the public library.
