THE PENNINGTONS

Domestic doings of a Canadian family in 1905. Father is Dean of Kingsford Cathedral; Mother is a variable factor; the five children have their own problems. Philip, the younger son, falls in love with the daughter of a French family, and after his father's death is free to marry her. The rest of the clan move to the States to build a new sort of life. Household incident and personality patterns make this a comfortable and clean family story.
