KIRKUS REVIEW

He has deserted his really original set-up of the blind detective and the seeing-eye dog, and the result is a blatant and dull job. A tale of sabotage and murder and labor strife in a cypress mill on the Florida flats. Conflict between the young daughter of the dead owner and the crooks who are determined to wreck her. Detective friend to the rescue. Punk story.
