GOVERNMENT, BUSINESS AND VALUES

These Bexter Memorial Lectures, delivered at the University of this year, are a discussion of public government, (federal or state), and its relation to private government, (known as corporations or business), It traces the functions of each, the necessary interrelation, the possible freedoms, and curbs for excesses, and goes on to correlate the policies, present and future, of each. It next defines government in terms of ""homefulness"" or values, primarily for the individual. It is again a reiteration of the current view of the future as premised by the need for greater cooperation on all fronts.
