WILLY O'DWYER JUMPED IN THE FIRE

Triggered by a little girl's call for help, Willy O'Dwyer jumps from one hazard to another in hot pursuit. Equally torrid are the illustrations in Mr. Montresor's I Saw a Ship A Salting style but with better cause: this is cataclysmic fantasy to begin with. And if children don't catch the apocalyptic references (the metropolis crumbling, the moon circled by spaceships), they'll still have great fun following dauntless Willy.
