MYSTERY GUEST AT LEFT END

Like Rough Ice, Quarterback's Aim, and others by Beman Lord, this is a story for and about the many young readers with an ardent interest in sports--in this case football. The Packers replace their weak left end with a newcomer who can catch all the passes but who happens to be a girl. Action and good humor are blended in the text which can be easily read by young boys, as well as sport-minded girls qualified for a place on the team. Arnold Spilka's spirited pictures of the fast-moving Packers are in keeping with the story.
