KIRKUS REVIEW

From the crimefile of the Massachusetts State Police, another creditable performance by young Ralph Lindsey as he probes the motiveless murder of a teataster, Eugene Somers, finds that it leads to the richest boy in town, who wants to be a trooper, and his friend, an established troublemaker. A second unnecessary killing establishes the evidence and Lindsey's official obligation entails a more painful personal decision. Functional- and to the point.
