This regulation run, too straight for TV, has soaring enthusiast Grant Stone land his new kit-built sailplane in the midst of a dopers' hideout. He's met by two bearded thugs and a gun in his face, then a slicker operator named Reese takes him home, claims he's a narc, and talks the incredibly credulous Grant into using his BG to smuggle H from Mexico. Fortunately a real narc gets in on the story so that Grant and his mother, who owns a small airport, are cleared of charges even after it turns out that Reese is really Mike Stone, Grant's father who deserted them years ago. By then though Mike is dead, having kidnapped his ex-wife and collided on take-off in her Cessara with one of the thugs he was trying to doublecross. Grant himself calls his hobby powerless flight--but a good soar takes more lift than Halacy gets here.
