Another in a series of Pogo-ized entertainments, this presents old Doc Raccoon with quite a problem. The Mississippi marshland is being invaded by outlaws from the west led by a killer coyote, the witchy Mata. The coyotes have become infected, by the ""Super Race"" syndrome. And they've developed a devastating hypnotic technique that can turn a feisty alligator into an acquiescent log. Waal, old Doc and the other Catfish Bend animals, judge Black (snake), J. C. Fox, etc. are off to the rescue where Doc beseeches the embattled marsh folk to ""work together like brothers"" like they do at Catfish Bend. Then he comes up with a master strategic stroke and it's back to the Bend in triumphant procession. Evidently this series has an audience and it's hard to define the age but not the mind ...juvenile.
