KIRKUS REVIEW

Companion volume to Who Dealt This Mess, with Webster cartoons and Calhoun text, which is- this time- much more than expanded captions. Actually it is a humorously nostalgic recall of dogs he (and his household) have owned, much of it debunking all known theories and presumably good practices in raising dogs. Completely unorthodox, and just the sort of book to give your hostess if she is given to sentimental attachments to her canines -- and if she has enough humor to laugh at herself.
