THE AIRMEN SPEAK

The officers and men of the R.A.F present their reports -- 75 individual reports, cross sectioning every activity, every branch of the service, in every aspect, whether in action or on the field, whether in fighter planes, bombers, observation service, maintenance; whether pilot, gunner or photographer. Authentic, impressive as a record of spirit, discipline, efficiency; in fact one would almost welcome some record of failure, of human frailty. There is no human touch, no personal lightness, no relief; it is all on one high plane of a job achieved.
