KIRKUS REVIEW

In this comedy of terrors James Wainwright is low banana. He thinks he's working for the British Secret Service but is he really a pawn for the Chinese Reds? And he believes that his prisoner, one Carter, is an ex-Chinese agent who defected to the Russians but perhaps Carter is really British counter-espionage. To complicate matters further, Wainwright is a klutz; he can't even get a grenade off in time. It's a long, bumpy road to Hong Kong and Wainwright remains ""True to form to the very end. . . . One gigantic balls up."" Bully!
