All phases of camping and woodcraft are told here very concisely and with excellent diagrams. The reason for putting it in the large, oversize format was doubtless to set off the full page photographs and make it appeal to younger readers. In a smaller or handbook size it would be far more useful; few campers would take such a bulky or heavy book on their expenditions.
