HALLOWEEN WITH MORRIS AND BORIS by Bernard Wiseman

HALLOWEEN WITH MORRIS AND BORIS

By

Pub Date: Sept. 15th, 1975
Publisher: Dodd, Mead

Morris the moose continues to perform his function of being stupider than any possible beginning reader, while straight man Boris the bear sets him up for punch lines on the order of ""Then girls must make Jill-o'-lanterns' and ""did you say CANDY? Then you mean Trick-or-EAT!"" The two end up at a Halloween party eating and playing games with the children until Morris, dressed in a sheet, catches a glimpse of himself in the bathroom mirror and runs home in fright. Even Morris isn't too dumb to play to the annual holiday demand, but be warned: the laffs here are both fewer and feebler than in last year's Morris and Boris.
