This is an attempt to reinterpret the Bible for those young people who have lost or outgrown an earlier uncritical acceptance of Holy Writ. It frankly accepts the findings of Biblical scholarship and in the light of them answers a number of questions that are often raised by young people as they nature. Among these questions are: ""How should we view the miracles of the Old Testament?""; ""Is the Christian God truly the God of wrath?""; ""Why do good people suffer?""; ""Why do Christians believe in the divinity of Christ?""; ""Why is the resurrection so central in the Christian faith?""; ""How should we understand the stories of the Creation, the Fall, the Final Judgment and the Second Coming of Christ?"". There are many who will not accept the author's answers. But for others they will be regarded as forthright, clear and positively evangelical though based on a liberal view of the authority of the Bible.
