Half-As-Big"" is what the deer was called because that is what he was in comparison to his big brothers. But he proves however that he is ""twice-as-smart"" in three times tricking a huge tiger even when accompanied by the proverbial sly fox. Two color illustrations in gold and brown by Leonard Weisgard are large and lively and suggest a bewildered rather than ferocious tiger. A funny fable like tale to hear and above all, view.
