ALL ABOUT MINIATURE PLANTS AND GARDENS, INDOORS AND OUT

There are so many facets to this book that it is hard to avoid an initial sting: window gardens, gardening by artificial light, greenhouse gardens, miniature ses, sink gardens, Bonsai, landscape gardens, rock and wall gardens, miniature annuals and bulbs- here are a few guides to the wealth of information included. With bridists developing projects to meet the growing demands of owners of small houses and small garden space; with garden shows tempting the initiated as well as the uninitiated to go in for miniatures, the need for this book is evident. There are warnings to the over-enthusiastic against trying too much, knowing too little. But the enthusiasm throughout is contagious, the information succint, pertinent and practical. Planting and care includes- in each area- preparation of containers for roper drainage, soil, instructions on exposure, temperature, light; suggestions on how to water, to fertilize, to recognize, and treat disease; on propagation, on potting and repotting. Name your problem- the answer is here.
