The competition of the author's own previous titles makes this one an extra, tho adult leaders desperate for humorous material to loosen up a group might welcome Carlson's latest graded series of simple skits. These proceed from ordinary Q/A riddles (""If you were facing east, what would be on your left hand? Fingers. . . What is lower with a head than without one? A pillow"") to ""Puppet Jokes"" (which are essentially the same sort of thing with a few preliminary lines of dialogue) to slightly longer ""Funny Bone Skits"" for live actors (where the only attempted humor is still limited to the punch line) to plays of three or four pages, many based on folk motifs, where the last line only punctuates the characters' already evident silliness.
