The possums, coons and skunks must leave Branch Hill Woods- when the bulldozers come and start cutting down all the trees. Their flight as it wends its way slowly out of the forest and into civilization, shows the woods and their creatures a friendly sympathy and fortunately for the refugees, finds them a new haven on the McGinty's hill.
