SQUIRRELY OF WILLOW HILL

A very gentle story of a squirrel and his human friends with those lovely, delicate illustrations in black and white and full color, by the popular authors of The Big Show. When a baby squirrel fell out of his nest, Mr. and Mrs. McGinty took him in and raised him as a very spoiled squirrel with a room of his own, toys and food, and even his own Christmas tree. In the spring he is loosed in a safe park, and returns to his world of trees, leaves and nuts. A sympathy and love for wild animals -- shared by most children- make the Hader books an endearing experience.
