CRICKET

Here is the Hader's own book, text and pictures -- a story of a circus pony, close companion of the leader of the elephants, and favorite of the trainer, who was uncle to some children who lived on a farm. The story starts with the day the circus comes to the nearest town, and goes on to the uncle's retirement, and the acquisition by the children of Cricket for their very own. A pleasant story, though perhaps not up to the Hader's best. However, -- pony stores are sure bets.
