A travel book, with the emphasis on the unusual, rather than the obvious, in travel through the Far East, specifically, Japan, Korea, China and the Philippines. Certainly not an indispensable book, nor is it fascinating enough reading to stir the imagination and tickle the heels of the stay-at-home.
