IT'S NOT YOUR BIRTHDAY

It's addressed to a little boy suffering from a bad case of a big brother with a birthday party. Little brother gets fetched out of near-tantrums with promises of birthdays to come and with a large hunk of party cake. Lyle the Crocodile dramatized the problem in more humanly recognizable/enjoyable terms in the recent Lyle and the Birthday Party (p 621, J-203). The bland black and white pencil sketches and the anti-climactic solution make this a disappointing consolation prize.
