KIRKUS REVIEW

It's an alphabet book pegged on moving day which fails to move. Velma Ilsey does, in a few fast lines and swift washes, suggest the chaos and emptiness that invades an ordered household as it checks out, but neither the alphabet nor its caption phrases bring order out of the confusion about the future that can invade the child mind when their familiar setting is about to be changed.
