KIRKUS REVIEW

Budding musicians will be much interested in this romantic story of the problems of two young lovers against a disapproving father. There is a good deal of sound musical information as Clara Wleck is meticulously disciplined and trained for a concert career, but the love story which ultimately resulted in the marriage of the two young musicians will be the chief attraction for younger readers of this fresh and authentic musical biography.
