An inventive bit takes a sensible, and magic, view of King Arthur's time when it introduces a practical young serf, Innet, to the courageous knight Garelot, who unfortunately does not like to fight. They run away when he is beaten by the Black Scourge; Garelot tames a ferocious dog, Goliath; and they seek the help of the witch, Boil and Bubble. She applies a magic psychoanalysis, finds the source of Garelot's seeming cowardice, reunites him with his real father who helps him prove his bravery and sees him married to Innet. A pleasant pastime.
