KIRKUS REVIEW

Semi-spoof-fact story of a doctor who finds that chlorosterol injections into the blood stream can be used to stave off death. Then comes the inevitable results, handled with less delicacy and charm than On Borrowed Time, as the business group, the church and the government seek to intervene. Finally, the inventer is forced to pervert science to provide cannon fodder, under government supervision. Clever at times, but the idea on which it is built wears thin. I doubt wide interest.
