THE HUMANITY OF WORDS: A Primer of Semantics

Semantic terminology is explained here with an analysis of the contributions of authorities, Ogden and Richards, Korzybski and Charles Morris. It points the way to objective communication as against self-expression. The field theory of communications and personality is endorsed by the author and presents analytic methods for sender or recipient of communications. Sometimes jargon obscures meaning from a layman point of view. It will probably appeal to the semantic circuit which embraces Stuart Chase.
