ALL HORSES GO TO HEAVEN

Twenty-odd stories, some well and some lesser known, go into this collection dedicated to the horse. Sentimental chestnuts abound in this field and are doubtless pleasing to many palates, although this does not tote up to particularly vital fare. While containing a few of the same pieces, this does not come up to A World of Horses (p. 950, 1961) in scope, substance or spirit.
