SAM ON THE JOLLY BLUE

Sam is a cat with big feet and the Jolly Blue is a fishing boat and this is a kittenish escapade that is also a fish story. Sam tangles the lines so Old Pete has to straighten them, dabs green paint on the deck so Old Pete has to give it a complete coat, and what has been a derelict becomes a spruce and trim ship, prompting Old Pete to go fishing again. . . with no luck until Sam loosens the lines, flies into the water hooked to one, and (illogically) lures fish to all the others. A put-up job, not worth the time it takes put-puttering around.
