KIRKUS REVIEW

Dizzy, seventeen, and roommate Felicia Harding go to Marrakech to stay with Felicia's parents (her father is an oil consultant there) and attractive brother Rick. But, before long, Felicia is abducted and most of this is concerned with the others' trip into the back country to retrieve her and expose Russian interests in Dr. Harding's oil fields (and the betrayal of his native assistant). Miss Cavanna hasn't much of a mystery up the sleeve of her caftan but she'll give younger girls a packaged tour from the casbah (castle) to the ksar (fortified village) all in Ektachromatic full color. And in the idiom such as Inch Allah (If God Wills) With or without divine intervention, her readers will be there.
