KIRKUS REVIEW

A ""look and learn"" cook book which includes some 146 recipes, 1335 black and white illustrations and some ""gudgeous"" color reproductions (advertising), is printed on glossy paper and has tabbed sections as well as a spiral binding (if desired), has a washable cover, and will have a big kick- off campaign in various media from Woman's Day to the L. N. J. to the Farm Journal As a cook book it is basic, caters to simple equipment and simple cooking and simple tastes, includes many time and effort saving methods, fundamentals of measures and utensils and definitions, meal planning and nutrition and table service, and has recipes in all categories from appetizers to desserts. For a housewife not a hostess market.
