LYLE, LYLE THE CROCODILE
by ‧RELEASE DATE: Sept. 16, 1965
Lyle, who lives in The House on East 88th Street (1962), is the same gentle, lumpish beast, but this time his story rests on some overworked contrivances. After a string of mis-adventures, Lyle changes the heart of the neighbor who wants him off 88th St. by saving the man and his cat from a burning brownstone. Weak but...there's at least a smile in this crocodile.
