JAMIE'S SUMMER VISITOR by Betty Roland

JAMIE'S SUMMER VISITOR

In upsidedown Australia Jamie's summer visitor came to the bush for Christmas (with no explanation to the confused reader from the Western Hemisphere). She was a stuck-up kid from Sydney with braces and glasses, but underneath it all was a scared little girl who thought her mother hated her because she was ugly. Blatant back fence psychology, slight and obvious text.
