Puckered politics. With Democratic Dad running against boyfriend Dave's Representative father for Allingtown First Selectman, Kathie Rhodes is caught between two loyalties--just like Shakespeare's Juliet. Splitting the community is the sewer question--to be or not to be--and campaign tension strains their relationship and upsets marriage plans set since the fourth grade. Election Day is a squeaker but Dad has more votes; Dave and his father come to congratulate and--the war is over. ""Romeo and Juliet shouldn't have taken that crazy poison so soon. Maybe things would have worked out for them, too"". Dad may be a winner but this Girl is just an also-ran.
