KIRKUS REVIEW

A new twist to an old theme, in the story of , one with and one without a tail. The one that had so tail (to speak of) sought help from the animals in the picture gallery. In turn he borrowed a tail from first a tiger, then a fish, then a horse, then another cat -- and finally decided that there was something in the sort of apology for a tail of her own that she preferred to any of the others.
