BUNNY'S EASTER GIFT by Bill & Bernard Martin

BUNNY'S EASTER GIFT

By

Publisher: Tell-Well Press

A fuzzy bunny picture on the covers, front and back, will appeal to the touch and add merchandise appeal, and the book is very Eastery looking, with bright pink paper on board (flimsily bound), and a picture of a rabbit, a duck and a chicken. But the story itself is rather original, telling of an Easter Rabbit who gave himself as an Easter present to save two children from disappointment. If only it had not been told in such bad, jerrymade jingles. The pictures -- doublespreads with text blocked in- are crudely drawn in poster style, with comic book color, so the overall effect is cheap. Definitely a seasonal merchandise item, and not for libraries, private or public.
