KIRKUS REVIEW

Detective Chief Inspector Thane of Glasgow methodically clocks his way through the small circle of Suspects in the murder of a girl racing-car club member, while two investment firm brothers and a rookie constable crisscross the track. Deliberately garbled pace-notes (a coded racing route plan) bring the final rally to its terminus. Slow but solid.
