Do you, Kerry, take Nameless...?"" That's right, the Nameless Detective kicks off his 22nd case (Demons, 1993, etc.) by tying the knot with Kerry Nameless. Then it's back to the grindstone looking for the birth parents of Melanie Aldrich, who's just learned from her dead mother's papers that she's adopted. Everybody who knows anything about the case tells Nameless that he doesn't want to pursue this one, and everybody's right: Melanie's birth mother is long dead, and her birth father is a man Melanie will be very sorry she went hunting for--as will Nameless and his bride. No mystery this time: Nameless just tracks his man, seethes at the mess he's found, and dodges bullets.
