KIRKUS REVIEW

Proving that show business is not slow business when Barr Breed, private eye, hotfoots through the murders occurring during the run of The Golden Girls in Chicago. Placating the police, leveling off with them when necessary, Breed acquires a client and unearths others pretty concerned with the first killing, that of a luscious showgirl. He finds his killer and a new angle to an old racket. Knockouts and payoffs -- this has them.
