KIRKUS REVIEW

Barr Breed, private detective, proceeds obdurately, durably through a series of murders which involve him as both suspect and target, tangles with a couple of lovelies and members of the underworld, opens up some dealings in stolen jewels and comes up with a solution just in time. Strenuous but satisfactory.
