Good rental fodder, in the story of the transformation of Roberta Blessington, heiress, conservative and too nice, into a musical comedy and burlesque star. It is another version of the Pygmalion and Galatea theme, with the aid of wire-pulling and money, and the backstage stuff is good, with the characters somewhat puppet-like.
