KIRKUS REVIEW

The famous stripper tells how she rose from her humble beginnings in the moonshine area of West Virginny to become queen of the G-string, fiancee of one-time Louisiana governor Earl Long, and current owner of Baltimore's Two O'Clock Club, where presumably she still does her thing. Unfortunately this form of tease autobiography (in which she tells everything but) is as outmoded as pasties in the AC/DC '70's, where nothing less than a detailed Masters & Johnson analysis of every contraction will satisfy the curious or titillate the prurient. One interesting sidelight: in between busts (and she had whoppers) she was apparently the lover of Philadelphia supercop (now mayor) Frank Rizzo, who apparently had time for fun-and-games somewhere betwixt the law-and-order. As frustrating as a vibrator with dying batteries.
