KIRKUS REVIEW

These meditations by Father Chevignard might best be designated, somewhat kindly, as old-fashioned in subject matter, approach, and language--though the latter perhaps is imputable in equal measure to the translator. But then, there are undoubtedly large numbers of rather old-fashioned Christians about who will profit from the unassuming simplicity of these reflections on such classic subjects as death and resurrection in Christ, finding the fullness of life in Christ, living for God, the love of Christ for his Church, and so forth. Definitely not for the angry young Christians, Reconciled With God may well be for the placid old ones.
