SLEEPY TO THE RESCUE

This will be a favorite with small customers, for Sleepy, ""a brown and white bird dog who lives... eight leaps and three barks from the Pacific Ocean"" has a most appealing personality. As he tells the story, he has a kind master, a police dog friend, and delectable hamburger dreams. Clear photographs follow his activities, -- swimming in the ocean, talking with an apathetic cow, sleeping in his master's chair. The adventures are credible and strengthen the friendship of the two dogs. And Roy Davenport's photographs give it a might-be-true quality.
