KIRKUS REVIEW

Ralph is a parrot who belongs to a working couple, Mr. and Mrs. Muggs. This tells about the trio's daily routine and the fun they have together; about the time when their routine is interrupted because Ralph, forgetting it is Saturday, gets them up and off to work; and about the time Ralph becomes a hero by shouting ""fire"" and calling people's attention to a burning building. Like Ralph before his obligatory moment of glory, his story won't attract much notice either--though the writing and pictures are just jaunty enough to add a bit of bounce to the standard proceedings.
